Perfectionism is the tendency to set unrealistically high standards for yourself. Very little in life, except perhaps nature itself, is perfect. Despite this, some of us keep aiming for this unattainable goal of perfection. Striving to reach perfection in our challenges, goals, and projects leads to frustration, anxiety, and wear and tear on our minds and bodies.
